He overhears his wife, Ellie, come in reminding Kevin to watch "Real Housewives" with her. He asks Jim if he's going to the reunion. It'd be the four of them (along with Oz and Finch) and no Stifler. Jim asks if Oz would be down with it considering his job, and nobody knows where Finch is.

Meanwhile, Oz (Chris Klein) is a sportscaster interviewing Chad Ochocinco. The interview plays on TV while Oz comes home and finds his hot new girlfriend Mia (Katrina Bowden) in the jacuzzi with another man who turns out to be gay. Oz also considers going to the reunion while Mia is on the phone arguing with her friend Rumer.

Elsewhere, the crafty and misanthropic Stifler (Seann William Scott) is seen going around a workplace hitting on women and mocking his co-workers and strolling into an office, rubbing a pic of a hot blonde on his junk before his actual boss, Mr. Duraiswamy, comes in and reveals Stifler is just a temp. He berates him and tells him to get back to work.

Jim and Michelle drive to Noah's, Jim's Dad (Eugene Levy) house trying to forget what Evan saw. Once there, Jim runs into his old neighbor Kara (Ali Cobrin), the girl he used to babysit. She's way hot and runs up to Jim, who doesn't immediately recognize her. She invites him to her birthday while her douchebag boyfriend hurries her up.

Jim goes to his old bedroom where he starts remembering his webcam incident with Nadia from the first movie, and then sees the porn mags his dad got him. That's when Noah ends up walking in and telling Jim how now that he has a kid, Jim will someday tell him all about the same sexual things his dad told him. Jim asks Noah if he had gotten back out there with dating since his wife/Jim's mom passed away, but he hasn't.

Jim meets up with Kevin and Oz before Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) comes in on a motorcycle looking all badass. They go into the bar where Finch tells them about joining a tribe and having the burn to prove it. They are recognized by the bartender Selena (Dania Ramirez), who used to be a dorky fat band geek and friends with Michelle. The guys look at their yearbook and read their wish list. Oz hoped to coach his son's lacrosse team. Finch hoped to find true love, Kevin hoped to stay with Vicky, and Jim wanted to have Ricky Martin's sex life (until now, of course). Stifler then pops in and buys them all a round of shots. This leads to Jim waking up in his kitchen the next morning, pants-less, and getting caught by Michelle and Selena.

Fury himself approaches Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) with an assignment to retrieve the Tesseract from Loki. During his exile, Loki encountered the Chitauri, an alien race seeking to conquer the galaxy. In exchange for the Tesseract, the Chitauri agree to help Loki subjugate Earth.

Suiting up, Captain America and Iron Man travel to Germany to apprehend Loki, who is recovering iridium needed to stabilise the Tesseracts power, and demanding that the civilians kneel before him. Loki quickly surrenders when the two heroes arrive, and he is escorted back to a S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, a high-tech, flying aircraft carrier. However, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki's half-brother and the Norse God of thunder, arrives and attempts to free Loki so he can try to reason with him on his own, but he gets into a fight with Iron Man and Captain America. Eventually, Loki is taken to the Helicarrier and placed in a cell designed to hold the Hulk. The Avengers argue and deliberate over how to approach Loki and the revelation that S.H.I.E.L.D. plan to harness the Tesseracts power to develop weapons. Fury admits that the events in New Mexico a year before made S.H.I.E.L.D. aware of other races on other worlds, some of which may see Earth as an easy target. The decision was made to produce weapons with the Tesseract as a means of deterrence. As the group argue, Clint Barton and Lokis possessed agents attack the Helicarrier, disabling its engines in flight.

As Stark and Rogers attempt to restart the damaged engines, Thor tries to prevent Dr. Banner from turning into the Hulk and destroying the ship from inside. While fighting Barton, Romanoff discovers that a blow to the head powerful enough to knock him unconscious is enough to break Lokis mind control. By the end of the battle, Loki escapes, Thor and Dr. Banner have been ejected from the ship and Agent Coulson is killed. Fury uses Coulsons death to motivate the Avengers into working as a team. Stark and Rogers realize that simply defeating them will not be enough for Loki. He needs to overpower them in a very public way so as to validate himself as ruler of Earth. Using a device built by Dr. Selvig, Loki opens a portal to the Chitauri home world over Manhattan, summoning a Chitauri invasion. The Avengers rally in defense of New York, but quickly come to the conclusion that they will be overwhelmed as wave after wave of Chitauri descend upon Earth. With help from the reformed Barton, Captain America and Thor evacuate civilians while Dr. Banner transforms into the Hulk and goes after Loki, beating him into submission. Romanoff makes her way to the portal, and she hits Dr. Selvig over the head, freeing him of Lokis control. Dr. Selvig reveals that Lokis staff can be used to close the portal. Meanwhile, the directors override Fury and send a jet that fires a nuclear missile at Manhattan to end the invasion. Iron Man intercepts the missile and directs it at the portal and the Chitauri home world before running out of oxygen and plummeting back to Earth, but the Hulk catches him as he falls. Thor escorts Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard, while Fury notes that the Avengers will go their separate ways until such time as a new world-threatening menace emerges. In a post-credits scene, the Chitauri leader The Other tells his master that it is futile to attack Earth, as fighting The Avengers is like courting death. His master turns, revealing himself to be Thanos.

A Marine has seemingly defied the odds during three tours of duty in Iraq. The story opens in Iraq, where U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault is on his third tour of duty. Almost immediately, he is thrust into a firefight that changes his life forever.

Central to the story is Logan's connection to what he comes to perceive as his own good luck charm - a photograph of a stranger he finds in the middle of the war zone.

Ellie, who, upon observing Logan's command over Zeus, hires him to help at the kennel, despite Beth's objections. Hicks comments that Ellie might also have ulterior motives.

Another person who welcomes Logan's arrival is Beth's seven-year-old son, Ben. Logan becomes fast friends with Ben, who delights in beating him in chess and showing off his magic tricks. Logan also not only accepts but encourages Ben's playing of the violin, something his own father dismisses.

Ben's father, and Beth's ex-husband, is the town's Deputy Sheriff, Keith Clayton, who uses their son Ben as a pawn to intimidate and control Beth. It only gets worse when he jealously starts to view Logan as an interloper in his family.

Prim is afraid she’ll be chosen as the tribute as this is her first year being entered. Katniss tells her that as long as she has the pin, nothing will happen to her. Soon all the teens in District 12, a humble mining area, are assembled in the town square. A gaudily dressed woman, Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) reaches into a bowl and reads out the slipfor the female tribute, it is Primrose Everdeen. As the guards take Prim to the stage, Katniss jumps out and volunteers, taking her sister’s place in the Games. Everyone is stunned but Katniss walks stoically to the stage, ignoring her sisters screams..
